"Barking Up The Wrong Tree" is the 23rd episode of the second season of MyStreet and the 58th episode overall. It premiered on August 28th, 2016.

Summary[]
The episode begins with Aphmau trying to prove Gene has not changed since high school but fails. After that Aphmau gives Aaron a pancake with a heart on it. Kawaii~Chan gets SHIP HAPPY and explodes! Aphmau then tells Lucinda and Ivy her situation with Gene.
They tell her that she should not worry about him and how Ivy changed as well. Aphmau tries to argue about how Gene was more misquiveis than Ivy. Lucinda breaks it up by asking Ivy to test a potion in which she gets a no. She asks Aphmau to try it, and Aphmau did try it turning her into a purple dog.
Aphmau then decides to look for Gene and spy on him. Aphmau find Dante with Travis, and Eric but no Gene so she continues. She then runs into Guy and Nate who try to adopt her before she runs off. She then is found by Celestia and Stitch who wonder why she smells like Aphmau.
Aphmau explains that she is Aphmau and asks them for assistance in which they accept. They smell out Gene leading Aphmau to him before leaving to go play hide and seek. Aphmau realizes Gene has changed feeling sorry she walks up to him when she turn back. Aphmau explains on the way back that she didn’t trust Gene after what he did to her and Aaron back in high school. Gene explains to her that he envied her in high school because she was always nice to everyone and even Aaron. Then, she gives Gene a second chance but she’s got her eye on him.
